Minecraft

Minecraft is a new sandbox game that I have picked up recently because I was hearing great things about it. I tried the free version available on their website, but after playing that a few times, I figured I would just shell out the $15 or so dollars for the game. It's currently half price until the beta hits, which then it will be full price.

So far I am very happy with my purchase! I am so happy that I am telling everyone about it and making a new section on the website for it. It's in heavy development stages right now, but that is a good thing because it is already a great sandbox game and there are a ton of great suggestions for new in-game items.

It has all the great things that I love in a great game including combat, crafting, and multiplayer. There are several modes of play that are available in the current alpha version. Basically you either are playing single player or mulitplayer on a hostile or peaceful mode. I haven't figured that all out yet, but I will post updates to this page regularly.

I am currently looking into setting up a server of some sort, which seems to allow for some fun times. I have joined just one multiplayer server so far and it was an amazing place. I look to start a THOR Gaming Minecraft server if possible. I need to see how many resources the server takes up and how much bandwith it takes.
